Pi() Function

The Excel PI function returns the value of pi. For example, the formula =2*PI() * 3 returns the circumference of a circle with a radius of 3.

Syntax

The syntax for the PI function in Microsoft Excel is:

=PI( )

Formulas:

1	=PI( )
2	=SIN( PI( ) / 2 )
3	=2 * PI( ) * 5	- circumference of a circle with radius 5

Results:
